A young up and coming director with friends in high and dark places makes a proposal to a production committee to give him full auteur control over their next big project. To his immense surprise he actually gets it but on the condition that he puts together 2 cour anime multimedia franchise starter within a year.

The director takes up the bargain and finds himself back to the proposal meeting that started it all. With as many do-overs as he needs, the director begins his descent through madness and hell to make the magnum opus of his industry.
