Through means resembling Telepathy, Tyrano Guildy had been sent a private message meant just for him.
Tail Blue who had temporarily become a mature middle-aged woman had somehow transformed into demonic battle Asura that could wield any affinity she saw fit upon returning back to her flat chested self. Just about everything about her except for her chest had undergone an evolution.
That comprised all the information that Tricera Guildy had sent him. No further details or visuals to go with it. And at the end of it he...
"...huh ...seems like I ended up seeing something that wasn't meant to be said... That's fine. Since hiding it away was what you decided on, I have to be fine with it."
Alone by himself, Tyrano Guildy set his sights on his beloved figures that adorned his shelf. One of them had symbolically fallen over.
"Wielding any affinity... That's almost as if she... It makes her the same as that person doesn't it?"
Said Tyrano Guildy to someone who was not there. He continued on,
"To plunge into twintails just like we have... Becoming ever stronger in the heat of battle and continuing onwards to attain the ultimate battle form..."
Try as he may, the figure just wouldn't stay up. No matter how often he fixed it in place, it kept on falling back down. He gave a wistful smile at it.
"You damned fool... Just what did you keep that up for? You definitely would have been able to use it as you please had you just trained yourself... Tricera Guildy, you did it to stay in this unit didn't you? You stayed that way just for that..."
Being a part of the unit that bore the legacy of ancient lifeforms, he did it so as to not disrupt the whole. To Tyrano Guildy, it was a nonsensical reason taken far too seriously. This reason behind Tricera Guildy's commitment to keeping his true form sealed away.
It was something comparable to choosing a school based on where your longtime buddy was planning to go... Others might have said as much but the person himself would have said it was an excellent reason to do so.
He wanted to always be there by his side as a fellow soldier and as his childhood friend. He put on that pretense to fit in just for that sole reason.
And all the while, he could have even possessed strength that merited being drafted into an even mightier unit.
"I seem to be crying... Aren't you going to make fun of me like you always do, Tricera Guildy?"
And as if to answer him back, the figure finally stood still in its rightful place.
Meanwhile, at the hidden mysterious space of the Ultimaguil leader.
Sitting behind the sacred veil on his throne, the Ultimaguil leader is just receiving news of Da Ino Rhombus' second in command's defeat.
"I see. So Tricera Guildy has fallen has he? That means both Fangs are broken. I suppose this was Dark Grasper's doing?"
"I am afraid not. It seems he was felled by one of that world's twintail warriors."
Clad in a white robe that covered them from head to toe, the underling giving the report corrected the silhouette's assumption. Worn on the back of the robe was a sword engraved with an emblem at its base. The voice that rang out loud and clear from inside the robe was that of a woman's.
"...That was the world with the warriors that destroyed Bee Tiful Heart. Now they've even taken out two of Da Ino Rhombus' heads... They are becoming an existence we cannot simply ignore."
Behind the veil, the silhouette clearly held a wineglass between its fingers. It was calmly smoking it.
No, he's clearly drinking it right? The robed warrior would not voice such thoughts out loud.
"Hmph... I really do hate it when things go awry so far beyond my expectations... Raising them only to come up short against some pair of twintails in the end, the sheer arrogance in that one."
Oh crap. He's starting off one of his long ramblings. The high ranking robed elemarian warriror's honed senses caught the signs too late.
"...and those stars twinkle up on high when you gaze upon them from the surface. Up close though, they are literally just rocks covered in stardust. In the end that's what all those countless twintails scattered all over are really."
Several dozen minutes had passed. After enduring an endlessly strange fable to its end, the warrior plainly said thus to her leader.
"Great leader. Although it runs contrary to my faith in Tyrano Guildy-kun who walks the same path(affinity) as I to do so, I cannot just leave it all to him. I cannot let that warrior who destroyed the ultimate pairing that is TyranoXTricera just slip by. If it comes down to it, I myself will go."
Because her voice was so transparently clear, the rage it carried within it became apparent.
"I will avenge Yggdrasil-chan as well since those warriors may have had a hand in her death. I do believe that it was Phoenix Guildy who was committed the deed though..."
The gears of fate have begun to turn. Led by a pairing, a dreadful fate was imminent.
"I am doubtful of there being any warriors in existence that can defeat the Tyrano Guildy but if they prove otherwise return here with another report."
Bidding the robed warrior farewell the contents of the leader's wineglass spilled to the floor meaningfully. Who is going to clean this up?
"Twintails is it... Oh well. I simply have to put an end to that in the corner of my memory."
And when it happens what will they be, stardust or the sun?
The day when I can excise twintails from my memories may not be such a distant one...
